Surprise Appearance at ANDREWS

WineSing were surprised at a jam on Tuesday night when our old friend, Ron Tallon, appeared at our door unannounced. Ron was on his way from Quebec City when he received an email about our Tuesday night jam and thought he would try to make Charlottetown by 5:30.....he arrived at 5:45! Most of you know that Ron has moved to Mineville, Nova Scotia. As a result of what turned out to be a great evening, Ron joined us at Andrews Strummers on Wednesday morning where we were invited to perform for the residents on Thursday afternoon. The attached photos were taken with a phone and didn't turn out the best, but after everyone was supplied with a special treat to honour WineSing, it really made little difference . Ron plans to stay with us for the SMUG jam on Saturday as well. We had great comments from the residents following the hour performance when many said how much they liked to hear the "old pieces" that they knew and could sing along with. We enjoy seeing them singing along as well. Our thanks to Sharon for her most generous hospitality and cuisine. We may Rise Again!
