WHAT'S NEW IN PEI UKULELE CIRCLES?

RETROFRETS IN NEW SHIRTS
The Retrofrets did no less than two Ceilidhs on Sunday.....Wow! brutes for punishment.

WineSing first performance at Garden Home today.

WineSing did a first performance at The Garden Home today providing entertainment for as many as 40 residents, all who joined in in singing and having an afternoon of fun. Last week Dennis Wells and his Baptist BUGS performed at the QEH Telethon on Eastlink TV. All proves that Ukulele is foremost and doing well in The Charlottetown Area. In two weeks SMUG will be performing at Beach Grove Home for their annual Canada Day celebrations. We all look forward to that as Beach Grove has been a favourite place for SMUG to perform.

JAMES HILL AND ANNE JANELLE TO PERFORM IN VICTORIA PLAYHOUSE MONDAY JULY 6 at 7:30

JAMES AND ANNE

James Hill
James has made a career as an award-winning ukulele player and songwriter, an uncompromising artist who 'gives the ukulele its dignity back without ever taking himself too seriously' (Songlines). The Old Silo, his latest album, invites you into a world of new beginnings, old regrets, might-have-beens, burning questions, beautiful women, horny geezers and gold diggers and winds a path through Folk, Roots, Rock and Americana. James will be accompanied by Anne Janelle who brings soaring harmony and cello to his instrumentation on ukulele, violin and drums.
